A basic introduction to the Japanese language, covering alphabets and where they came from and their uses.
We cover basic counting systems and the history behind numbers.
We introduce basic N5 level kanji starting with days of the week and expanding from there.
We cover how to start putting sentences together, and introducing ourselves while also covering a little bit of Honorific Japanese.
We gain basic vocabulary in a wide range of day to day scenarios.
By the end of this course students will know basic history of the language and how it formed, basic 50 kanji and their alternate meanings.

Level 2 is for those with a basic knowledge of Japanese, this course features fun slang you'll hear in day to day life in Japan.
We will go through uniquely Japanese customs and unique offerings in each region of Japan.
We will go over more kanji than the beginners as well as make more complicated sentences, adding more descriptive words. Aiming for a N4 level of word, we cover more in depth Japanese.
